Two months in, here’s how I’ve done!

My first month of this project has been crazy-exciting. Click through for new articles and site features coming in June, project stats, site stats, productivity experiment updates, and more!

From now on, I’m cranking out one article/day instead of two

Lately I’ve been trying to crank out one article/day for this project, but I’ve found that I’m not diving deep enough into what I want to talk about.

Introducing a brand new stats page, now with a daily work log and wakeup times

I just updated the stats page with completely redesigned graphs. And I’m now logging the work I do each day, as well as posting my wakeup times!

5 places I’ve failed with A Year of Productivity recently

Over the last couple of weeks I have failed at a number of things I set out to do with this project. This post lists what those are, and exactly why I failed.

Tomorrow I graduate University. Yeahhhhhh!!!! (No posts tomorrow.)

Tomorrow I have my University convocation ceremony and reception. The final day of a long, long five-year journey that has been a ton of fun. I’m taking tomorrow off, so there won’t be any posts.

One month in, here’s how I have done

My first month of this project has been crazy-exciting. Click through for new articles and site features coming in June, project stats, site stats, productivity experiment updates, and more!

Next week is Focus Week on A Year of Productivity!

Next week I’m going to only post articles that have to do with improving your focus and concentration. Click through to read more about what’s coming up!

What’s the point of becoming more productive, anyway?

Writing about productivity blindly is a little like writing about being pregnant. I will never know what that’s like, and so writing about it would be pretty pointless. The same goes for this project.

It sure is fun to jump head-first into something

Yesterday was an exciting day. A couple of minutes after sending out a bunch of messages to friends about launching A Year of Productivity, the site went down for several hours. But it did get a lot better, and a lot more fun.

Introducing A Year of Productivity

I just got my business degree and was offered two great jobs, both of which I turned down. Why? Because I have a plan. For exactly one year, beginning May 1st, I’ll devour everything I can get my hands on about productivity, and write every day about what I’m learning. No catches – just a total focus on finding practical, tactical tips to make my life and your life better.
