This interactive, half-day productivity workshop will help your team manage their time, attention, and energy—the three core ingredients of productivity.

The four-hour session has three parts, each of which weaves powerful personal productivity tactics with helpful exercises on how to get more done each day. On top of this, the session includes insights and anecdotes from my books—Hyperfocus and The Productivity Project—and is designed particularly for busy teams who have little time to think about investing in their productivity.

Since each team is different, I’ll customize the intensive to the unique needs and productivity challenges of your group. The workshop is designed to accommodate as many or as few people as you’d like.

Attendees will receive a booklet to guide them through the session, as well as a printable PDF, so the productivity tactics actually stick. The session is conducted by me, either in-person or via webinar (though in-person is better, and much more fun).

I look forward to helping you out!

If you’re curious, here’s a bit more about me, along with a few testimonials from folks I’ve spoken to in the past.

1. Time

Time management has always been integral to productivity. But it’s especially important today, when many of us have more work to do than time to do it.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t become more productive by working faster and more frantically on autopilot. The most productive people do the opposite, and work deliberately and intentionally throughout the day. After all, busyness is no different than laziness when our actions don’t accomplish anything. Productivity isn’t about doing more things—it’s about doing the right things.

This part of the workshop helps you pinpoint the most productive tasks in your day, so you can work smarter, and not just harder.

2. Attention

Time management is just one part of the productivity picture. The most productive people don’t only manage their time well—they also manage their attention, through eliminating distractions, simplifying their work, and developing laser-like focus. The better you focus, the less time you need to spend on work, and the more productive you become.

Attention didn’t matter as much in the past when many of us did repetitive assembly line work. Today, we do the heavy lifting with our brains, rather than with our bodies, and our productivity is contingent on the level of attention we bring to it.

This part of the workshop helps you eliminate (and simplify) your distractions and interruptions, and guides you to focus better and more deeply on your work.

3. Energy

Effectively managing your energy is the third part of the productivity puzzle. Energy is the fuel we burn throughout the day in order to be productive. Similar to our attention, our work benefits from all of the energy we can direct its way. Whenever we feel tired, stressed out, or fatigued, it’s because we’re not managing our energy properly. Luckily, there are countless clever ways in which we can more intelligently manage our energy.

The most productive people don’t only manage their time well—they also know how to best spend and cultivate their attention and energy.

This part of the workshop gives you solid tactics to cultivate your energy levels (it’s possible to get more!), and suggests ways of recharging, particularly when you have limited time.

Why This Approach Works

This workshop is based around a simple idea: the most productive people don’t only manage their time well, they also manage their attention and energy well. When we have more demands than ever before on our time, an overwhelming number of distractions surrounding us, stress and pressure coming at us from every direction, work that comes home with us, and beeps and notifications that follow us around all day and hijack our attention, all three are essential. Pulling from research, and a treasure trove of interviews and productivity experiments, this workshop contains the absolute best ways to manage these three ingredients of productivity every day.
